There are several different types of anxiety, the most common being Generalized Anxiety Disorder. GAD, short of Generalized Anxiety Disorder is when a person excessively worries about daily life events. While anxiety is a normal feeling, especially when there is a big event coming up; such as writing an important exam. Anxiety is considered a problem when the constant worry and fear becomes a part of daily life. People who suffer from GAD often have unrealistic views and outcomes of problems and situations. Anxiety can reach a point where it can dominate a persons ability to function.
